I am Taz, owner of Gypea Tails. Since I can remember, I have always loved being in nature, amongst animals. My heart is too soft to have become a Vet or Vet nurse, but I always knew one day life would lead me to work with animals in some capacity.

Fast forward a couple of decades, after I left South Africa, travelled around the world, moved across the globe, met the love of my life, brought home a couple of Dogs, had a couple of kids, quit my stressful city job, moved down south in 2020 to a place that has always felt like home since 2011 …

& THEN BOOM, this business idea happened. It started as a way to save enough money to fund my studies & become a self help coach…

But as you can see, clearly this is where I am meant to be. So I didn’t turn back.

I love what I do, I love offering the best Dog care in Margaret River & the South West Region because it makes a difference in people’s & most importantly, Dogs lives. The work we do matters.

I love attending Weddings, I love being the person people trust with their Dogs on such a happy day. I love witnessing the pure love & excitement while their Dogs sit beside me, watching their favourite people commit to each other.

At home, I have 1 Golden Retriever Cross Lab, 1 Choco lab, 2 energetic kids & an amazing husband.
We can be found at the beach, especially when the surf is pumping, deep in the forest & lazing at home together.
